The Lüneburg Sports Association from 1913 e. V. is a sports club from Lüneburg .

He is particularly known for his running, swimming, soccer and wrestling sections.

history

The club has had its name since 1971, after the merger of the Free Sports Association Lüneburg (founded in 1913) with the Hagen Sports Association (founded in 1926).

In spring 2008, the football departments of the two clubs Lüneburger SK and Lüneburger SV merged to form FC Hansa Lüneburg, which was renamed Lüneburger SK Hansa on June 1, 2011 .

athletics

In 2011 Abdellah Hamoureis became national champion in the 10 km road race. In 2012, Jurek Odenbach won the state championship over 3,000 m.

Winners for the choice of athletes of the year for the city and district of Lüneburg, the athletes - 2014 Marie Trenkel (10,000 m) and 2017 Olga Köppen (800 m). The only two athletes who won the election from the LSV.

Wrestling

In 2012, the LSV wrestlers returned from the state championships in Salzgitter with five titles. In 2014, Musa Bisultanov became German wrestling champion, after becoming German freestyle runner-up in 2011.

  • 2006: Lower Saxony sports medal for "exemplary contribution to the further development of sports offers"
  • 2015: The commemorative publication for the club's 100th anniversary in 2013 with the title “From ATL to LSV” was awarded by the Lower Saxony Institute for Sports History (NISH) as part of its “We are looking for the best anniversary commemorative” competition.
