Jan-André Sievers (born August 5, 1987 in Frankfurt am Main , Germany ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Sievers, son of Ralf Sievers , began playing football in the youth teams of Lüneburger SV , Lüneburger SK and Hamburger SV . At HSV he got into the 2nd team. For the 2007/08 season he moved to the Lower Saxony league club Lüneburger SK and after six months went on to VfB Lübeck . For the 2008/09 season he joined the Kickers Emden playing in the third division .

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Sievers moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he signed a two-year contract. After he had not become a regular player there due to an injury, he moved on to SV Sandhausen after a year . There he was a regular player on the right defensive side in his first season. In the second year it was only used six times. With the club he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012 and moved to the regional division SC Fortuna Cologne . With Fortuna he failed in the 2012/13 season as second in the table on promotion to the 3rd division. In the following 2013/14 season he finally rose to the 3rd division with Fortuna. He then moved back to VfB Lübeck in the Regionalliga Nord, where he signed a three-year contract. However, this contract was dissolved a year before the end of the contract and Sievers joined NTSV Strand 08 in the Schleswig-Holstein League .
