L'Astronomia , with full title L'astronomia: bimestrale di scienza e cultura , was an Italian astronomical science magazine .

The magazine was founded in 1978 by Margherita Hack and Corrado Lamberti and around 30,000 copies have been sold.

Among the authors were Italian and international astronomers, but also writers such as Alberto Moravia and Giuseppe Prezzolini .

The magazine first appeared every two months (for example No. 2 January / February 1980 to No. 4 May / June 1980), then later in monthly issues. In 1984 the title changed to Mensile di scienza e cultura and was published by Media Presse in Milan. The magazine was discontinued in 2008 with the number 296.
