L'estel ferit

L'estel ferit ( Catalan for The Wounded Star ) is a sculpture by Rebecca Horn on the sandy beach of Barcelona , which was erected for the 1992 Olympic Games . It is around 10 m high and consists of four stacked blocks of metal and glass. The fishstallsformerly in the fishing district of La Barceloneta are associatedwith the work. Today it is a striking and popular meeting place on the beach.
