The locomotives with track numbers 59 and 60 of the Lokalbahn AG (LAG) were wet steam locomotives with compound engines .
After the 1'C locomotives with track numbers 17 to 49 had proven themselves in operation, Krauss-Maffei delivered two more vehicles with higher performance in 1900. The water boxes, which were arranged far in front next to the smoke chamber, were striking. In addition, a coal box was added behind the cab, the drive wheel diameter was reduced, and the wheelbase and length were increased.
The two locomotives were assigned to the class 98.73 by the Reichsbahn and were given the numbers 98 7308 and 98 7309. After the Second World War , they came to the Deutsche Bundesbahn , where they were retired in 1950. Most recently they were stationed in Nuremberg .
