LC Packaging International is a manufacturer of packaging materials with headquarters in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel . LC Packaging currently employs around 1000 people. In terms of products, LC Packaging focuses on agricultural packaging and big bags. LC Packaging has offices in 15 countries.
history
The company was founded in 1923 as a trade in used jute sacks. In 1972 Paul van Cleef took a stake in the company Lammers & van Cleef BV. 1973 started producing its own sacks. LC Packaging has been used as the company name since 2002. In 2014 SGBaker was taken over.
LC Packaging achieved sales of 115 million euros in 2011, an increase of around 20% compared to the previous year. This was achieved by 160 employees in sales and distribution in 25 countries and the 700 employees in the various production facilities.
The LC packaging production site in Bangladesh has been SA8000 certified since October 2012 . Certification is carried out by accredited certifiers such as Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), DQS, Société Générale de Surveillance or TÜV.
