LIGA total! was an IPTV broadcaster operated by Deutsche Telekom AG , which broadcast the games of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga from 2009/10 to 2012/13 . Telekom paid approximately 25 million euros annually to the DFL for the transmission rights .

The offer could be booked for customers of Deutsche Telekom together with an Entertain Bundesliga package. The broadcast signals were transmitted over the telephone line to the subscriber and had to be decrypted there by a media receiver in order to receive them on the screen. At least one DSL 16 plus line was required for reception .

In April 2012, Telekom lost the IPTV rights from the 2013/14 season, which Sky Deutschland secured. Plans to acquire a sub-license from Sky for the continuation of in-house production came to nothing. The program was then discontinued.

Entertain customers have since been able to subscribe to the regular Sky television service.

When the station was in existence, Telekom called the former T-Home Cup , a soccer tournament that is organized during the summer break under the direction of Telekom, LIGA total! Cup . After the broadcasting operations ceased, the tournament was renamed the Telekom Cup in 2013 .
