The Linz Institute for Qualitative Analyzes (LIquA) is a non-university social and cultural science research institute in Linz , Austria .

history

LIquA was founded in 2001 by David Lechner , Thomas Philipp and Andre Zogholy in Linz and is currently managed by the first two. The aim of the research activities is to set innovative impulses in the Austrian research landscape and to strengthen the research location in the social and cultural sciences in Linz , Upper Austria and Austria .

Areas of activity

LIquA works primarily on the topics of cultural development and planning, spatial development and planning, communal and regional social planning, labor market and educational research, as well as ecology and innovation research.

In addition to scientific work in these research fields, the focus is on dealing with theoretical, methodological and methodological concepts of qualitative research as well as reflecting on structural change in the scientific system, the changed research conditions and the resulting implications and challenges.

The services offered by the institute include research, process design and support, teaching activities, consulting and networking.
