Andre Zogholy

Andre Zogholy (* 1975 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian sociologist, artist and musician living in Linz.

Life

Andre Zogholy studied sociology at the University of Linz . He is a co-founder of the Linz Institute for Qualitative Analysis , lecturer at the Institute for Society and Social Policy at the University of Linz and at the Institute for Media at the Art University Linz and author of several scientific publications in the context of social and cultural studies. In the cultural field he is a founding member of the Linz artist group qujOchÖ and as a musician in the field of electronic music under changing names and in various collaborations, including with Dietmar "Didi" Bruckmayr (Wipeout, Orchestra 33 1/3, Fuckhead), Dieter "Didi "Kern (Pest, Wipeout, Fuckhead, Bulbul) or Wolfgang Fuchs (Fax Mattinger, One.Night.Band ), active. His artistic, scientific and curatorial work in recent years has increasingly focused on the relationship between architecture, sound and society.
