LRVP-het Zeteltje is a Dutch party. LRVP stands for "Liefde, Respect en Vrijheid Partij" ( German  love, respect and freedom party ), with the "Zeteltje" is meant a seat in the Dutch lower house that the party hoped to win.

history

The party was founded in 2004 by Sander van der Sluis, whom the newspaper Het Parool called a " John Lennon from Limburg ". He was also the top candidate for the 2006 general election . The social cultural association, as it sees itself, has its origins in the advent of the digital age of music in the 1990s, which created a basis for more “love and respect” and made it possible to stand up for a better world. The party only entered the constituency of Amsterdam , with 185 votes (0.0%), the third worst result of all the parties, it could not move into the Dutch lower house. In contrast to many other small parties, which were unsuccessful in the election, LRVP-het Zeteltje continued to exist after this.

Party platform

In its program, the party advocated the legalization of all drugs. She issued the motto “Religions are all the same”, according to which all religions have the same origin. Once a week, the speed limit on the streets should be lifted for a year as a test. To reduce the national debt, the party proposed a “social correction tax” and campaigned for the direct election of mayors. In her opinion, new parties should get a maximum of five seats in parliament, as they should prove themselves first within the legislative period.
