LR 13000

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Liebherr LR 13000 (Ehingen 06.2018)

The LR 13000 is the most powerful crawler crane from Liebherr .

With a load capacity of 3000 tons , the crane developed in 2009 is the most powerful crawler crane in the world. The maximum system length is 246 meters, so this crawler crane has the tallest lattice boom that has ever been developed for a crawler crane. Operation of the crane without a derrick boom is provided as a standard operating mode in order to enable economical use with large loading weights . For operation without a derrick, the turntable ballast of 750 tons was implemented significantly higher than that of the comparable Liebherr LR 11350 .

For the transport of the crane, it was structurally ensured that all components can be delivered by low loader. The chains are transported in containers separately from the caterpillar carrier in order to make the total weight of the caterpillar module possible for the requirements applicable for road transport.
