LSR 1610−0040 is an astronomical object in the constellation Snake north of the ecliptic , which has an unusual spectrum and a high B − V color index of approx. 3.3.

It is an astrometric double system with an orbital period of 1.66 ± 0.01 years, whereby it is assumed that it consists of a cool star and a brown dwarf . The photocentric orbit has a major semi-axis of about 9 mas (about 0.3 AU) and an eccentricity of about 0.4.
