The Luftwaffe sports club Greifswald was a short-lived sports club in the German Empire with headquarters in Greifswald in what is now the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald .

history

After the 1943/44 season, the LSV participated as a newcomer in the promotion round to Gauliga Pomerania , in the West section . There, after four games played, only third place could be achieved with 3: 5 points. The results were declared invalid in the course of the merging of the leagues, so the club was allowed to participate in one league higher for the next season. For the 1944/45 season , all clubs that could still take part in the game were divided into the Gauliga Pomerania and incorporated into so-called sports district groups. The West relay in the Greifswald group of the West section was assigned to the LSV . The game operation was canceled so quickly that there was not a single game in the season. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was also dissolved.
