La Juventud is a Spanish-language, Uruguayan , nationally distributed daily newspaper from Montevideo .

The newspaper was founded on March 1, 1984 and initially appeared as a weekly newspaper. La Juventud has been designed as a daily newspaper since July 14, 1992 . The Marxist-Leninist and anti-imperialist embossed, and the Artiguismo affiliated newspaper, official press organ of former times is Frente Amplio belonging party Movimiento 26 de Marzo (in German: motion on March 26 ). The slogan of the publication is Por la Liberación Nacional y el Socialismo . As director of La Juventud of the national executive committee of the acts Movimiento 26 de Marzo belonging Guillermo Fernández . José L. Borges is the editor-in-chief . This distribution of tasks has existed since at least 2007 and will continue in 2012. The headquarters are located on Avenida 18 de Julio 1357/202 in Montevideo.
