La Voce Repubblicana

La Voce Repubblicana (German: the republican voice) was the daily newspaper of the Republican Party of Italy . It was founded in 1921 by Giovanni Conti and was last published in 2013.

Before World War II

The first edition of Voce Repubblicana appeared on January 15, 1921, under the direction of Giovanni Conti . It was later directed by Fernando Schiavetti , Randolfo Pacciardi and Ugo La Malfa , among others . After all anti-fascist newspapers were banned, La Voce Repubblicana had to cease its publication in 1926. From 1944 it appeared again regularly.

After the Second World War

In the past, La Voce Repubblicana had to be repeatedly discontinued due to a lack of money. B. 1978-1981, 1998-1999, 2000-2003. The eventful history of the newspaper in the post-war period reflects the increasing insignificance of the Republican Party in the political landscape of Italy.
