Ladin has several meanings:

  • a powdery explosive is considered safe to handle and winterproof; often used for snow field blasting.
  • Ladinium , geological age in the Middle Triassic, approximately 242 to 235 million years ago.
  • Ladin (Switzerland) , the Romansh language variants of the Engadine and the Münstertal (Lower Engadin, Upper Engadin and Münstertal).
  • Ladin (municipality of Stadl-Predlitz) , part of Stadl-Predlitz , Murau district, Styria
  • Ladin language or Dolomite Ladin, Romance language in northern Italy.
