The Pérez used on the right wing played at least 1921 for Universal and 1923 for the Wanderers . In 1923, the Atlético Wanderers won the title in the parallel championship played by the Federación Uruguaya de Football (FUF) during the phase of the split in the organizational structure of Uruguayan football. He then belonged to the squad of Club Atlético Peñarol in the Primera División from 1923 to 1931 . During this period, the Aurinegros also won the FUF title in 1924, won the Copa del Consejo Provisionalio in 1926 after overcoming the Uruguayan football schism through Laudo Serrato and were Uruguayan champions in 1928 and 1929, respectively.

National team

Pérez was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . Overall, he completed six international matches from his debut on November 2, 1921 to his last game for the Celeste on August 31, 1924. He did not score a hit. Pérez took part with the national team in the South American Championships in 1921 (no use) and 1923 . In 1923 he won the title with Uruguay and contributed actively to it in three encounters.
