Charge balance method

The charge balance method or charge balancing method is a measurement method in which the analog signal of an electrical voltage is converted into an intermediate variable frequency ( number of events in a period of time ). This frequency is then converted into a digital signal by means of a limited count . Details are explained under digital metrology .
