Layer material

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Layer materials consist of individual veneer layers (odd number of layers / symmetrical structure of the layers).

The veneer layers are glued to form panels or molded parts. These include the veneer plywood (veneer layers are glued crosswise), the plywood (the grain of the veneer layers is aligned in the same direction), the molded plywood parts (multi-curved wooden parts whose veneer layers are glued at right angles or in a star shape) and the synthetic resin pressed wood (peeled veneers were cut in 50 % aqueous phenolic resin solution immersed).
