Storage according to Fritsch
The Fritsch positioning , also known as the Fritsch positioning , is a type of positioning for emergency patients with vaginal bleeding or the postpartum period . During the procedure, the patient is placed on her back, a sterile and highly absorbent wound pad is placed in front of the vagina and the stretched legs crossed in the area of the lower legs. Heavy bleeding can be identified by the rising of blood in the dressing. The storage offers a certain protection against infection .
