Lago (leisure pool)
Lago (own spelling: LAGO - Die Therme ) is a leisure pool in Herne , North Rhine-Westphalia , and is part of the leisure activities of the Gysenbergpark .

The leisure pool as such is divided into three areas: water world, brine world and sauna world.
Water world
The water world forms the core of the leisure pool offer. This includes the roofed wave pool, heated to up to 27 ° C, with an adjoining 112 meter long water slide. The outdoor area is formed by an outdoor pool and several integrated whirlpool and flow systems. There are also 25 solariums and aqua aerobics courses. The outdoor area is closed in winter.
Brine world
The brine world includes an indoor pool heated to 34 ° C with massage jets and cascading showers . The salt content of the brine is 3%. The outdoor area is formed by two pools with massage jets and air bubble seats with a salt saturation of 3 and 7% respectively.
Sauna world
The sauna world is the only textile-free area of the leisure pool. Basically, the sauna world is divided into women's, men's and communal saunas, in which the range of different saunas is very similar. The centerpiece is the communal area with various saunas and a sauna garden of around 10,000 m². You can find a steam bath , a rock oven sauna and dry saunas. Different infusions are offered. There is also a mixed textile sauna.
