Lagoa de Santiago ( Portuguese 'Lake of St. Jacobus ') is a crater lake in Portugal on the Azores island of São Miguel in the Ponta Delgada district . The lake is located in the crater of Sete Cidades in its own crater at 334 m above sea level. With an area of 25 hectares, it is the fourth largest lake on the island. Its depth is 29 m. The lake is surrounded by a thick forest.
