Lake Boomanjin is a brownish lake on the Australian sand island of Fraser Island in the state of Queensland . It is the largest Grundwassersee (perched lake) on Fraser Iceland. The brownish color of the water comes from tannins .
The lake is located in the southern half of the island not far from its eastern shore. The Fraser Island Great Walk and Southern Lakes Scenic Drive trail pass the water. There is a fenced campsite by the lake. It is around six kilometers from Dilli Village to the lake.
