The Lake Dorothy is a lake in King County in the State of Washington . It is one of the largest lakes in the region and the source of the East Fork Miller River . The Florence Falls are a short distance below the drain. The lake has a total of nine islands.
Access
The lake can be accessed via the Dorothy Lake Trail, which runs approximately two miles (3.2 km) to the lake. The trail continues for another two miles (3.2 km) along the lakefront to its south end. Even after that, it continues and finally reaches Bear Lake and the Taylor River over a mountain range .
