The Lake Moore is an endorheic salt lake in the west of the Australian state of Western Australia .

The Great Northern Highway passes northwest of this lake . Perth is about 280 km to the southwest and Mount Magnet is about 200 km north of the lake. The lake has roughly the shape of an F with an extension to the northeast. Its extension in the north-south direction is about 120 km, its largest extension in the east-west direction about 35 km. On its east bank (from north to south) are the settlements of Maranalgo , Mouroubra and Remlap . They are all accessible via a dirt road from the Great Northern Highway (Exit: Paynes Find ).

Most of the time the salt lake is dry. It only fills with water when it rains heavily, which then gradually evaporates again.
