The Lake Nuga Nuga is a lake in the eastern Australian state of Queensland .
The lake is located on the middle reaches of the Brown River . The Nuga Nuga National Park is located on its north bank , right next to the Warmilla settlement . The Carnarvon Range , in which the Brown River rises, runs south of the lake . There is also the Arcadia settlement .
The city of Roma is approx. 175 km south of the lake, the city of Emerald approx. 170 km north-northwest.
