Lakka
Lakka (also Suomuurain liqueur and Lakkalikööri ) is the name of a spirit from Finland .
Along with Minttu, Lakka is one of the most famous spirits from Finland. It is a liqueur made from cloudberries , Finnish Lakka . The berries are soaked in alcohol between two and six months before further processing. The liqueur is usually drunk neat or in coffee. Lakka is produced on the one hand by the company V&S Finland , a subsidiary of the V&S Group , and on the other hand by the family company Lignell & Piispanen , which also produces wine from Lakka berries.
