Kirsten Jüngling
Kirsten Jüngling (born June 20, 1949 in Hessen) is a German journalist.
After completing his banking apprenticeship, Jüngling studied business administration in Regensburg and economics in Heidelberg, and also graduated as an economist from the Fernuniversität Hagen . She then worked as a management consultant and lecturer.
Since the 1990s she and Brigitte Roßbeck have successfully published a number of biographies, including those of Elly Heuss-Knapp (1994), Elizabeth von Arnim (1996), Frieda von Richthofen (1998), Franz and Maria Marc (2000), Katia Mann (2003) and “Schiller's Double Love - The Lengefeld Sisters Caroline and Charlotte” (2005). In 2008, Jüngling presented Nelly Mann's first biography with the title “I'm not just bad” . In 2013 her biography of Emil Nolde appeared with “The colors are my notes” .
Jüngling lives and works in Cologne .
