Lalita Svete

Lalita Svete (born January 18, 1996 in Vienna ) is an Austrian violinist .

At the age of four, Svete had violin lessons from Vesna Čobal at the music school in Maribor . In 2006 she began studying at the central music school in Ljubljana . A year later she switched to the Velenje Music School , where she was taught by Igor Ulokin and, since September 2008, by Arkadij Vinokurow .

• 1st prize: "Temsig 2006", Ljubljana (plus an extra prize for the most talented young violinist)

• 2nd prize: "Petar Konjović", Belgrade, Serbia 2007
• 3rd prize: “Etudes and scales”, Zagreb 2007
• Participated with great success: “Prima La Musica”, Innsbruck, Austria, 2008
• Recognition award "Borsa di studio" at the "Alfredo e Vanda Marcosig", Gorizia 2004
• 2004 soloist with the orchestra of the music school in Maribor at the age of 7.
• Several concerts and appearances a. a. in Venice (“ Teatro La Fenice ”, “ Teatro Malibran ”), Salzburg, Zagreb, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana (“Slovenian Philharmonic”), Maribor (“Lent Summer Festival”).
• 2007 - Ten performances as a soloist with the Zagreb Soloists in Croatia, Liechtenstein, Austria and Slovenia, organized by the Music & Youth Foundation.
