The Lamarck Island ( French Île Lamarck ) is a small, 165 m long rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is located 165 m northeast of the Rostand Island in the Géologie archipelago .
French scientists mapped it in the course of a research trip that lasted from 1949 to 1951 and named it after the French naturalist Jean-Baptiste de Lamarck (1744-1829).
