Lambertian pyramid of colors
The Lambertian color pyramid was the first three-dimensional color model . It was developed by the mathematician, physicist, astronomer and philosopher Johann Heinrich Lambert in 1772 and was intended to make it easier for dealers and their customers to use colors.
