The Lampitt-Nunatak is an approximately 1800 m high Nunatak near the Loubet Coast in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises near the head of Murphy Glacier .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957, the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey was used for mapping. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the Nunatak in 1958 after the British chemist Leslie Herbert Lampitt (1887-1957), who worked as a nutritionist for British polar research expeditions between 1937 and 1957.
