history

The authority was founded on October 2, 2017 and took over partial tasks of the disbanded Oberfinanzdirektion Niedersachsen. For other parts, the Lower Saxony State Office for Building and Real Estate (NLBL) was founded at the same time . The Lower Saxony State Office for Remuneration and Supply (NLBV) was founded in 2016 .
