The Lower Saxony State Office for Construction and Real Estate ( NLBL ) is a state authority in Lower Saxony. Together with the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance and eight regional state building authorities, it is part of the State Construction Management of Lower Saxony .

tasks

The NLBL acts as the supervisory authority in the middle instance. It monitors and controls the activities of the eight building authorities, performs cross-sectional tasks and bundles specialist knowledge. The state property management also belongs to the NLBL. The eight building authorities operate the operative business and implement the construction projects for the federal and state levels.

history

The authority was founded on October 2, 2017 and takes over partial tasks of the disbanded Oberfinanzdirektion Niedersachsen. The Lower Saxony State Tax Office (LStN) was founded for other parts of the country at the same time . The Lower Saxony State Office for Remuneration and Supply (NLBV) was founded in 2016 .
