Land survey of the offices of Zweibrücken and Kirkel
The regional survey of the offices of Zweibrücken and Kirkel is a map series by Tilemann Stella . He received the order from Duke Wolfgang von Pfalz-Zweibrücken . The survey began in 1563. The work was published in 1564. It consists of an overview map and 16 single sheets. They are oriented to the northeast .
The full title reads: "Thorough and thorough description of the Baiden Ämbter Zweibrücken and Kirckel as they are located with their districts and borders inside and out, items with mountains, forests, rodtushes, hedges, valleys, wells, weyern or weigh, brooks, rivers and knowledge - the same also with old and new villages and antiquities made according to the right geometrical way - by Tilemannum Stellam von Sigen. "
The areas that do not belong to Pfalz-Zweibrücken are shown in a different but similar color scheme.
