State representative for railway supervision
In some German federal states, the state representative for railway supervision (LfB) is responsible for the construction and operation of non-federally owned railways if these tasks are not the responsibility of the Federal Railway Authority . This involves the support of connecting railways , park railways , private railways , narrow-gauge railways , field railways , according to the unification agreement of some trams and, in some cases, of small railways . Furthermore, the state representative for railway supervision is responsible for the stationary systems in trolleybuses , i.e. for the contact line infrastructure and the associated substations .
In the new federal states, the state representative for railway supervision followed the state railway supervision .
