The State Administration Office (LVwA) is a Berlin agency , which as a recruiter tasks for supervised Berlin state institutions and their employees in the areas of aid accomplishes supply, personnel record keeping and child support. The authority is subordinate to the Senate Department for Finance .

Tasks and organization

The state administration office is represented externally by the director . Two departments with seven departments and three service units work under him:

Department PS - Personnel Service

  • PS Q - cross section including state family fund and central application system support

Department - IT Service

  • Civil service: State civil servants law Berlin (LBG) , State salary law Berlin (LBesG), law on the granting of an annual special payment (Special Payments Act - SZG), law on capital-forming benefits for civil servants, judges, professional soldiers and temporary soldiers in the version published on May 16 2002 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 1778), Federal Salary Act in the transitional version for Berlin (corresponds to the Federal Salary Law in the version published on August 6, 2002 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 3020), last amended by Article 3 of the law of July 12, 2006 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 1466), with the exception of Section 1 (1) and (4), Section 14 (2) to (4), Section 17, Section 23 (1) number 1, Section 37 (2), Section 67, Section 8, Section Sections 80 and 82, Section 84 (3), Section 85 and Annex VIII as well as Annex V of the Federal Salary Act replaced by the Act on Amending Salary and Pension Provisions of October 1, 2008 (GVBl.
