District Court of Montafon

The Montafon regional court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1805 to 1814 . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

Since the Montafon area became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1805 , the regional court of Montafon was established through a reorganization of Bavaria . This came to the newly founded Illerkreis with the capital Kempten .
