The district court of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz in what is now the district of Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

In 1803, in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria, the Neumarkt Regional Court was established in the Upper Palatinate. This came to the newly founded Altmühlkreis with the capital Eichstätt .

Official seat

The official seat was in the Palatine Palace, where the later district court of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate was also housed.
