Nettelstädt estate
The Nettelstädt estate is a listed property in Nettelstädt , a district of Rüthen, in the Soest district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The half-timbered building originally made up of seven containers is marked 1658 on the eastern wall. In the middle of the 17th century it was verifiably owned by the lawyer Wilhelm Steinfurth. In the 18th century it was expanded three times to the south. The transverse extension was added in the 19th century. The farm building is a massive building on an L-shaped floor plan; it is designated 1791. The kitchen house is one and a half story high, it was built from quarry stone in the 18th century . The windows and doors were framed with stone .
