The Landhelferbrief was issued in the National Socialist German Reich to all unemployed young people who had worked for a farmer for at least six months as a temporary employee in the Landhilfe . The President of the Reich Institute for Employment Services and Unemployment Insurance was the exhibitor .

The land helper letter had an identification number and a photo of the owner. The Landhelferbrief should be submitted when applying for a job at agricultural schools, when applying for settler positions and on similar occasions.
