The Landing Cove ( English for landing bay ) is a bay on the northwest side of Moe Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is north of Conroy Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it that in 1974 because the bay is the only place for small boats to land on Moe Island.
