The landscape protection area Auf dem Böhfelde with an area of ​​72.14  hectares is located in the area of ​​the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The landscape protection area (LSG) was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen.

The LSG borders the Uhlenbruch nature reserve in the north . In the northwest to the Hengstey marshalling yard and in the west to the development of Hengstey . In the south is the A1 with the exit Hagen-Nord. In the east lies the L 704. The LSG mainly comprises agricultural areas with fields and grassland.

Protection purpose

According to the landscape plan, it was designated “to maintain and restore the efficiency of the natural balance, particularly through its buffering effect to the adjacent nature reserve”.
