Kehlsiepen landscape protection area
The Kehlsiepen landscape protection area with an area of 5.2 hectares is located in the Arnsberg urban area . It was designated in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerland district as a landscape protection area (LSG) type B (small-scale landscape protection) . It is located west of Holzen near the city limits.

Protection purpose
The designation was made to secure and maintain the efficiency of the natural balance or the usability of the natural assets; because of the variety, character or beauty of the landscape and its particular importance for recreation. The designation is intended to secure open spaces in the outskirts.
Legal regulations
In the landscape protection area, among other things, the erection of structures is prohibited. How is the LSG into the other protected areas of type B in Arnsberg prohibition of afforestation and tree - Schmuckreisig- and nursery crops to apply.
