Landscape protection area Lüsenberg
The landscape protection area Lüsenberg with an area of 6.1 hectares is located in the urban area of Arnsberg . It was designated in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerland district as a landscape protection area (LSG) type B (small-scale landscape protection) . It is located north of the city center of Arnsberg or southeast of the train station and covers the western and northern flanks of Lüsenberg. The LSG goes to the edge of the settlement.

Protection purpose
The designation was made to secure and maintain the efficiency of the natural balance or the usability of the natural assets; because of the variety, character or beauty of the landscape and its particular importance for recreation. The designation is intended to secure open spaces in the outskirts.
Legal regulations
