Mühlenbachtal landscape protection area
The Mühlenbachtal landscape protection area with 1.4 hectares is located in the Arnsberg urban area . It was designated in 1998 with the Arnsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerland district as a landscape protection area (LSG) type C (meadow valleys) . It is south of Rumbeck . The LSG borders directly on the settlement area. The Mühlenbachtal nature reserve borders in the south.

Protection purpose
The designation was made to secure and maintain the efficiency of the natural balance or the usability of the natural assets; because of the variety, character or beauty of the landscape and its particular importance for recreation. The designation is intended to secure open spaces in the outskirts.
Legal regulations
In the landscape protection area, among other things, the erection of structures is prohibited. How is the LSG into the other protected areas of type A in Arnsberg prohibition of afforestation and tree - Schmuckreisig- and nursery crops to apply. In contrast to type A and B LSGs, it is forbidden to convert grassland and fallow grassland into arable land or other uses. A temporary designation was made until the building was used .
