Landscape protection area Upper Immental
The Upper Immental landscape protection area with 18.6 hectares is located northwest of Radlinghausen in the urban area of Brilon . The area was the 2002 district council of Hochsauerlandkreises with the landscape plan Hoppecketal as a conservation area designated (LSG).
The Upper Immental landscape protection area was designated as one of 22 type B landscape protection areas, peripheral location , landscape character in the urban area of Brilon. In the urban area there are also four type A landscape protection areas (general landscape protection) and 53 type C landscape protection areas (meadow valleys and significant extensive grassland) with different requirements.
These are open land areas with grassland .
Protection purpose
The designation was carried out to ensure the diversity and uniqueness of the landscape in the vicinity of the localities and the old agricultural priority areas by keeping it open.
Legal regulations
How is the LSG into the other protected areas of type B Prohibition of afforestation and tree - Schmuckreisig- and nursery crops to apply. As in all type B landscape planning areas in the urban area of Brilon, there is a requirement to keep the LSG free from forest cover through agricultural use or through maintenance measures.
