Ruthmecketal nature reserve

The Ruthmecketal conservation area with 4.2 hectares is located in the Märkischer Kreis in the area of the town of Balve . It was designated for the first time in 1989 by the district council of the Märkisches Kreis with the landscape plan Balve - Mittleres Hönnetal as a landscape protection area (LSG) of type B (special landscape protection) with the name landscape protection area Ruthmecketal northwest of Volkringhausen . In 2015, with the 2nd amendment to landscape plan No. 2 Balve-Mitteleres-Hönnetal, it was again designated. The LSG is located northwest of Volkringhausen . The LSG goes to the edge of the settlement.

Protection purpose

Legal regulations

The new planting of Christmas tree cultures, ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures and reforestation is prohibited and is subject to official approval from the Lower Nature Conservation Authority .
