Protection purpose

The landscape plan elaborates on the protection purpose: “Supplementing the NSG stipulations of the floodplains to form a grassland biotope network system that creates opportunities for animals and plants to migrate and spread and thus serves to maintain the efficiency of the natural balance. At the same time, due to their predominant location in the wooded planning area, the open floodplains have a structuring and invigorating effect on the landscape and thus contribute to safeguarding its diversity, individuality and beauty. Furthermore, (extensive) grassland areas should be preserved, which are of particular importance for the protection of biotopes and species. "

Legal regulations

How is the LSG into the other protected areas of type C in Sundern prohibition of afforestation and tree - Schmuckreisig- and nursery crops to apply. Grassland and fallow grassland may not be converted into arable land or other uses.

Commandment and development measures

As for all landscape protection areas of type C in the landscape plan area, a special command was issued. “The grassland is to be cultivated extensively, e.g. B. in the context of the cultural landscape maintenance program of the HSK. "

As for all type C landscape protection areas in Sundern, two special development measures have been set. In the case of agricultural use, extensive cultivation with contractual regulations should be aimed for.
