Landscape protection area Tücking, Auf der Halle and the surrounding area
The landscape protection area Tücking, Auf der Halle and the surrounding area with an area of 921.52 ha is located in the area of the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The landscape protection area (LSG) was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen. Parts of the landscape protection area are provided for in the area development plan for residential areas. If a development plan becomes legally binding, these areas are no longer designated as a landscape protection area.

In addition to the large main area, the LSG also includes three smaller areas. In the north, the A1 forms the border of the LSG. At one point, however, there is a small area north of the A1. The LSG is surrounded by built-up areas. Three built-up areas are also located like islands in the LSG.
In the LSG there are predominantly wooded areas, near-natural stream valleys and numerous ponds and springs. The stream valleys are partially cut like a kerbtal and habitat for numerous special and z. T. endangered plant and animal species.
Protection purpose
According to the landscape plan, the designation was made “to maintain and restore the efficiency of the natural balance, in particular by securing natural habitats, because of the diversity, uniqueness and beauty of the landscape, especially the forest areas, and because of the special importance of the area as a recreation area, especially for the quiet Recreation through the experience of natural habitats, especially for the population of the Haspe district ”.
Legal regulations
In the landscape protection area, among other things, the erection of structures is prohibited. Construction projects for horticulture, agriculture and forestry, the public supply of electricity, gas, telecommunications services, heat and water, wastewater management or an existing adjacent commercial operation are exempt from the construction ban, provided that a permit is available. The construction of wind turbines and hydropower plants is also permitted with a building permit. In LSG, there is a prohibition of afforestation outside woods and forest meadows, pastures or -äckern. The creation of Christmas trees , ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures is also prohibited. Grassland and fallow grassland may not be converted into arable land.
